And I don't want the world to see me
Cuz I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
Cuz I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
Isn't that what we desire? For people to really know us and even more accept us.
It's shame that keeps us hidden inside behind self-built walls. What are we trying to cover up? Fear of failure or sounding stupid binds us and silences us. By grace, no more.
i really do love writing, and I think it's high time I started plopping some of my brain's confangled ideas up here on this blog.
Following is the first rap I ever wrote, and I think it's on the same theme of freedom in our unique identities.
Empty Talk, cos I ain't been living the walk
Ain't been believing that your love be relieving
My stain, my pain, my guilt, my shame
Been filling my beautiful brain
The drain of my thoughts been goin' to pot
Frustration, wanna be a new creation
Wanna fill this grand ol' nation with Love.
Wanna know that You love me that I really am free
To be, not bound to a tree like you wuz.
Free to dream, free to live,
Free to give of myself to others
Without fear that they'll think I'm weird
Just wanna be goin', just wanna be flowin'
With You, my Beautiful Friend
Forever with Love.
